No frills picture cd to Cripple Creek & Victor (8019)

( Item in stock! )

This single CD collection contains almost 200 pictures of locomotives, rolling stock, station details, yard area, and other majestic views.  The gift shop and ticket office now was originally built in 1894 as the Anaconda station for the Colorado Midland Terminal.  Later, the station was moved to Bull Hill after the fire of 1904 destroyed most of Anaconda. The station was moved to its present location in 1968

The locomotive roster includes 4 locomotives photographed.  All are coal-fired two foot Narrow Gauge Locomotives. The Number 1 is a Orenstein and Koppel built in 1902 0-4-4-0 articulated mallet. The Number 2 engine is a Henschel built in 1936 0-4-0, built in Germany. The Number 3 is a Porter built in 1927 0-4-0 tank engine. The Number 4 engine is the Bagnall built in 1947 0-4-4-0T, this engine is currently not in use.

The train travels 4 miles along the old Midland Terminal wye, over a reconstructed bridge, past several historic mines and terminates near the deserted mining camp of Anaconda, and then returns back to Cripple Creek.  I’ve captured several of these areas as well as the yard area and detailed photos of the locos.  This CD can be a great modeler’s tool especially for the Bachmann Porters!

I’ve tried to capture this little railroad and these two foot locos in their entire splendor while they have either been under steam or just sitting in the yard.  I’ve also tried to capture any bit of useful information for you to use in scratch building or ideas or modifications that you can incorporate on your model railroad.

It does not matter what scale you model in G scale, O scale S, scale HO scale, N scale, Z scale, narrow gauge, standard gauge, steam, or diesel, or if you are just a rail enthusiast, this is a fantastic collection of photographs at an incredible price.
